The story
Midlands Golf are a midlands-based trusted golf retailer, providing top golf clubs and golf equipment nationwide. They run three stores, a state of the art driving range and a golf academy.
The goal
We had been looking after Ian’s, the owners, house for 15 years so we were the obvious choice when they were looking for a security provider for the business. The goal was to secure each of the sites due to the high value of quality stock within each stores. At Stonebridge Golf Club, Midlands Golf also manage the driving range and they were having a persistent issue with customers heading out onto the driving range to collect balls.
The Solution
We installed a graded intruder alarm system in each store, which are all linked to our accredited alarm receiving centre who provide 24/7 monitoring with both security guard and police response for confirmed activations. They have monitored CCTV which allows visual verification of intruders and audio challenges. We also installed a solution which detects golfers walking onto the range and issues an audio announcement warning them not to proceed.
The result
They now have complete peace of mind knowing that all of their shops and the areas they manage are protected. Like any business, they occasionally look to shop around but they haven’t been able to find a competent security provider who they have the same level of confidence in.
