MES Systems Showcases Fire and Security Careers at Warwickshire Skills Show

Richard Morgan |

MES Systems was proud to represent the fire and security industry at the Warwickshire Skills Show on 3rd March, helping students discover the wide range of careers available in this sector.

Warwickshire Skills Show Highlights

The first Warwickshire Skills Show brought together more than 1,500 local students, over 80 employers, and more than 25 schools from across the county. Organised by Warwickshire County Council’s Skills Hub, the event created an important opportunity for young people to explore future career options and speak directly with employers about the different routes into work.

Working with Industry Partners

We were supported at the event by Skills for Security, CSL Group, & Hikvision, whose involvement helped highlight the breadth of opportunities within the sector. Throughout the day, we spoke to students not only about career paths in fire and security, but also about the value of apprenticeships as a practical and rewarding route into the industry. These conversations were an important part of showing young people that there are multiple ways to build a successful career.

MES Systems’ Commitment to Future Talent

MES Systems is committed to investing in future talent and supporting skills development across the region. We are passionate about showing young people that the fire and security industry offers long-term, hands-on careers in a sector that protects people, property, and businesses every day.

Richard Morgan of MES Systems said:

“The Warwickshire Skills Show was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with young people and highlight the variety of careers available in the fire and security industry. There is a real need for future talent in our sector, and events like this are invaluable in showing students that there are rewarding, skilled and meaningful career paths available to them.”

MES Systems was delighted to be part of such a successful event and to help showcase the career opportunities available in fire and security to students from across Warwickshire. We look forward to continuing to support careers education and encouraging more young people to consider a future in the fire and security industry.
